Professor Atia Khalifa, from Mechanical Engineering Department, represented the College of Engineering and Physics (CEP) in the KFUPM College Cup Table Tennis Competition, securing the silver medal after winning four matches and finishing second overall. The competition was held on October 10, 2026, with faculty and staff participants from across the University.

The KFUPM College Cup is an annual inter-college sports program featuring various sports, including table tennis, swimming, badminton, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and squash. The initiative promotes physical well-being, sportsmanship, and community engagement among faculty, staff, and researchers.
