Dr. Ammar Alsheghri joined the mechanical engineering department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Sep 2023. He was a visiting professor in the department of computer and software engineering at Polytechnique Montreal during summer 2024 and summer 2025. Before joining KFUPM, Dr. Alsheghri worked as a technology developer at Comet Technologies Canada Inc. He earned his PhD from McGill university in 2020 in the field of Materials Engineering in collaboration with the faculty of Dentistry.
