ACTIVITIES & EXPERIENCE Environmental Water Harvesting Testing Setup,                                                    Jan. 2023 – Dec. 2023

  • Designed and build a setup to evaluate the performance of functional surfaces as Environmental water harvesting surfaces under various environmental conditions. Upscaling Biphilic surfaces manufacturing,  Aug. 2022 – Dec. 2022
  • Developed a new fabrication process for Large scale Biphilic surfaces reducing Cost, Time and Environmental Impact by a factor of at least 10 each. Seraaj Solar Car Team – Leader,   Jun. 2011 – Jun. 2012
  • Led a team of 20 students with a budget of 250,000 USD to successfully design and build the first Saudi solar car in 11 months. Participating in the 2011 World Solar Challenge. (MIT Course 2.009) The Product Design Process, Storm Shield – Team Member,           Fall 2012
  • Worked in a team of 20 senior level students and successfully produced an alpha prototype for an innovative bicycle rain protection system.

  • Taught ME -311 Fluid Mechanics & ME 315 Heat Transfer Course 2 times each for total of 70+ Students. 
  • Coached 8 Teams during their senior design project
  • ME -218 : Mentored 75 sophomore students to help them designing and building a mechanical system required by the course.
